Two New Avenged Sevenfold Reviews From Soldiers In Iraq.

Soldiers Jordan and Jeff were kind enough to send in their own thoughts on Avenged Sevenfold’s performance(s) in Iraq to Deathbat News. Check out what they had to say about the performances below:

Jordan: my little review of A7X’s most recent Live Show at Camp Liberty, Iraq! First and foremost, I most definitely have to say Thank you, thank you, thank you to A7X for taking time out of their busy schedule to come to Iraq and play for it. Was definitely the best ending to a deployment one could ask for. As for the show, FUCKIN ROCKED OUR SOCKS OFF! Every last one of my fellow soldiers, die hard deathbatters or not, loved every last second of it. They kept us begging fore more n more. The energy of the band was outstanding and just coursed through us all. The collection of songs from Nightmare to Walk (nice try Nate) was amazing. Was definitely looking forward to Gunslinger but I guess you can’t get all your dreams given to u in one show. Just looking forward to getting back to the states and hopefully making one of their shows in the states. (P.S. Any fans know how to get backstage passes for Ohio or that has them and would be willing to sell them hit me up!) I am fiending for more A7X. have literally listened to nothing besides a little Dream Theatre since i found out they were coming to Iraq. So Fuckin Amped! So i give the show 20 gold stars outta 10. Couldn’t have asked for a better night to get rocked. A7X will always be one of the greatest bands ever in my eyes. And to The Rev, I hope u enjoyed the show and are proud of your friends. They are definitely very humble and respectful men as well as amazing artists. You will never be forgotten brother.

Jeff: The show at Joint Base Balad (JBB), Iraq was incredible. This was my first time seeing A7X live and these guys are absolutely
for real! I was fortunate enough to stand five feet from the stage, pump my fists and bang my head (safely). Glad to be “Part of the
Family” M. Shadows! After the show the band stayed to met everybody! I was impressed with all of these guys, hella nice! What an honor to shake all of their hands. Thank you for making the trip 7,000 miles to the sand box! A NIGHTmare that I will not forget!
