Indy Concerts Review Avenged Sevenfold On The Uproar Tour/X-Fest.

IndyConcerts have posted a lengthy review of Avenged Sevenfold’s set in Indianapolis, IN on the Rockstar Uproar tour/X-Fest.

Anticipation is building, chants of “A7X! A7X!” are starting to break out, and there’s only so much of Master of Puppets pouring through the speakers that one man can take. It’ll be worth it though. Soon enough, this place will erupt.

And erupt we did as the lights go out with nothing but the light from a few smartphones illuminating the scene. Soon enough, we see fire rise from behind the curtain, giving a brief silhouette of what looks to be a giant Deathbat. Before too long, there’s a giant pop and the curtain drops. The band greets the capacity crowd and the eerie piano intro to “Nightmare” now fills the place.

One of the things I’ve always heard about Avenged Sevenfold? How big of a production their show has become.

Clearly they spared no expense with their elaborate stage set, pyrotechnics and lights mixed in with their heavy guitars, precision drumming, soaring vocals, and a stage presence bigger than that giant Deathbat in the background with fire in its eyes (not a metaphor).
