Natalie Sugarman has written up a review of Avenged Sevenfold’s show in Mount Pleasant, MI at the Soaring Eagle Casino.
When Avenged Sevenfold took the stage you could feel the crowd anticipation and the explosive moment when they played the first few notes of “Nightmare.” No matter how many times I’ve seen this band they always put on a performance that raises the hair on your arms and has you thinking ‘how are they this amazing every time?!’
Avenged Sevenfold played a total of 12 songs mainly from the albums Nightmare and their self-titled album, they also included “Bat Country” from City of Evil and “Unholy Confessions” off of Waking The Fallen. The guys in the band truly have a sizzling chemistry on stage. Frontman M. Shadows demands your attention with his in-your-face vocals and the guys all play off of each other creating a rock and metal phenomenon to be reckoned with. If you get the chance go and see this band, do it. They’ll blow your mind and break the sound barrier at the same time!
