Colorado Gazette Uproar Review, "I Haven't Heard A Band [A7X] Sound This Good Live Since Tool In 98"

Which now brings us to, Avenged Sevenfold, a group which I have most definitely heard of and listened to, but had not had the pleasure to see live until this show, and after seeing them, I now get the fanaticism that I had witnessed all day (I’d say 1 in 10 people were wearing some type of Avenged 7X gear). Not only do these guys bring dramatics and presence to their performance, they sound identical to their studio recordings. I have not heard a band sound this good live since Tool played Red Rocks in ’98. Just flat out amazing! One of the all time best shows that I have seen and will most assuredly see them again, especially considering that Dream Theater drummer, Mike Portnoy, has now taken up position behind the skins! Bravo guys – incredible show!
