Abort Mag's Vancouver Uproar Review, "One Of The Most Entertaining Metal Acts On The Scene.. A7X"

Abort Magazine have put up their review of the Vancouver stop on the Rockstar Uproar tour. You can read the entire thing here. Check back as they will be uploading photos from the show as well.

Certainly one of the most entertaining metal acts on the scene followed in the guise of Avenged Sevenfold.  Moody stage lights and the ghoulish backdrop set an eerie tone as the band launched into their new hit single “Nightmare.” Pyrotechnics and an elaborate stage set really brought the music to life giving fans a real treat as their performance was backed with unforgettable visual effects.  In an emotional moment before the song “So Far Away,” the band welcomed to the family renowned drummer Mike Portnoy, who took over drumming duties after the tragic death of James “The Rev” Sullivan in 2009.  Far from done with Vancouver fans, they finished their set as it began, with huge energy, dazzling visuals and a very intimate and personal metal experience.
